U.S. Bank National Association (“U.S. Bank”) is hiring an Application Developer in St. Louis, MO . Duties: Contribute toward the success of the bank's technology initiatives; define and develop reporting solutions, improve workflow processes, and operating efficiencies; execute the technical design and development of complex application systems using existing and emerging technology platforms; may participate in some application architecture functions; estimate and define time tables and project tasks; analyze and estimate cost and time; perform change impact analysis; create unit and test plans; identify opportunities to improve testing process; perform design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of solutions; develop basic and detailed program specifications; ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved; design, code, test, debug, document, maintain, and modify computer programs of high complexity, significance, and risk; develop reporting solutions by accessing and administering data in SQL server , Oracle and Netezza databases utilizing tools such as SQL Server Management Studio, TOAD, C#, ASP.Net, MVC, DevExpress, SSIS, and Visual Studio to develop automated and interactive reporting and application solutions; identify and manage interfaces, service levels, standards, and configurations; conduct analysis of organizational needs for the development and implementation of application systems; monitor operating efficiency of existing application systems; and identify opportunities for improvement and recommend technical solutions.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 3 years of software development experience. Must have the following experience: 2 years using C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, MS SQL, Microsoft Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, WCF; 2 years using Microsoft.NET, MVC, HTML, CSS; 1 year with web-services and web-related applications in the banking industry and interfacing with credit bureaus; and 1 year using SSIS.
