USBank is seeking a motivated Application Developer to join the Technology Team within its Community Development Corporation (CDC).   This role will participate in the maintenance development of a custom .NET web application that is integral to managing the CDC’s portfolio of loans and tax equity investments.   Primary duties involve fielding requests to modify, enhance and troubleshoot the system that originate from our helpdesk and/or existing product backlog. 
 
Collaborates with users to resolve urgent, time-sensitive issues and investigates the root cause of system problems.  Works in an Agile development environment to continually develop system enhancements.  As needed, gathers information to assist additional technical staff to investigate, analyze, and resolve technical problems related to system functions, programming, and procedures.  The ideal candidate will be self-organizing, passionate about continuous improvement, a strong communicator, and enjoy solving complex development problems. 
 

Qualifications

 

 

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
At least 2 years experience with developing and implementing applications.

 

Preferred Skills/Experience

1 year of development experience or educational background in C#
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
Experience with html, CSS and JavaScript
Understanding of source control tools.  Working knowledge of TFS is a plus.
SQL and TSQL skills are recommended.
Strong interpersonal communication skills
A strong aptitude for learning is paramount.
Financial/accounting background is a plus.
