U.S. Bank is seeking an effective IT Production Support Specialist with operations support and relationship management experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Performs a senior liaison role between operations, technical/development teams, and business lines. Provides technical guidance and supervision, acts as a mentor, and provides internal training. Manages support documentation, project participation, and operational readiness. Proactively identifies projects that could potentially impact the mainframe, network, and distributed systems environments and communicates with operations regarding those projects. Handles a wide variety of events by effectively using monitoring tools and automation with a primary goal of reducing and/or eliminating customer impact. Provides proactive utility application support. Serves as a resource to aid Network Operations Center analysts and management with issue escalation and resolution.  Organizes and translates information into clear written support documentation. Provides infrastructure support and administration of tools for operators and management for system support information, documentation, and turnover recording. Strives for process improvements that improve the accuracy, level of service, timeliness, and workload of operators.
This Position is an opening on the RAA (Report Archival Administration) CA-View Level 1 team. This Production Support Specialist position includes functions of this team including the routine maintenance from our Development and Security teams to add, modify, or change existing report setup on our CA-View databases. These changes control report setup, DISTID access, implement and follow department standards, database administration, RAA Box request support, User communication and help, and team participation and communication, including interfacing with the RAA Manager and Level 2 on development projects and release modifications implementations.
This position, once training and experience is complete at a preferred level, will be incorporated into the rotating on-call schedule, DR exercise rotation, EBRP participation, and the ability to work from home following department practices and policies.
This candidate would need to have mainframe knowledge and experience, including JCL, Batch Processing along with SAR Batch expertise,  JES Spool, 3 to 5 years CA-View and Deliver experience and  understanding, typing Skills, communication skills,  detail orientated,  a desire to do things right the first time, training skills, and good team and people skills.

Basic Qualifications


-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
-At least 3 years experience with a data center operating environment, day-to-day operational requirements, and the operation of production systems and equipment.
