In order to continually improve our department, we are looking for a reliable Department Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to ensure everyone in the Enterprise Infrastructure Management organization complies with health and safety laws. You will also be responsible for establishing policies that will create and maintain a safe workplace.
-Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
-AFE Certified Plant Maintenance Manager
-AFE Certified Plant Supervisor
-At least 8 years experience with management approaches, tools, and techniques for gaining the cooperation and support of others.
-At least 8 years experience with the electrical engineering, maintenance, environmental, health, safety, energy, controls/instrumentation, civil engineering, and HVAC needs of a facility or plant.
-Proven experience as Safety Coordinator
-Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines
-Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies
-Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
-Excellent organizational and motivational skills
-Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
-Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
-BSc/BA in safety management or relevant field is preferred
-Valid qualification in occupational health and safety
