U.S. Bank is seeking a detail-oriented Application Systems Administrator with system configuration and data integrity experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. 
Responsibilities include:
-Participates in the configuration, problem diagnosis and maintenance of application systems and/or user group profiles.
-Analyzes, monitors, and fine-tunes the application system to achieve optimum performance levels.
-Works with internal infrastructure teams and vendors to resolve issues with hardware and software.
-Maintains a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation to ensure data integrity.
-Participates with application system problem resolution by working with application developers, vendors and internal infrastructure team members to troubleshoot.
Primary duties include:
-Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support to production applications within the US Bank Enterprise
-Interpret Monitoring Logs of production servers for likely component failures
-Executes System Administrator functions against Windows, Linux and AIX servers
-Document steps taken to restore service to US Bank applications within the ITSM tool
-Provide input to Knowledge based articles for repetitive problems and common diagnostics
-Serve in on-call rotation for applications within the Shared Services division of TOS (Technology Operation Services)

Basic Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
-At least 5 years experience with Support and/or implementing applications
Preferred Skills/Experience
-Experiences as a System administrator
-Experience as Level 1 or Level 2 support technician
-Experience with ITSM tool for incident and problem resolution
-Strong communication skills with all levels within Business and technical disciplines
-Strong analysis skills to interpret existing documentation in the context of an incident and restore service. 
- Working knowledge of IT environment
- Working knowledge of IT service and change management
- Working knowledge of IT systems management
- Basic knowledge of system software infrastructure
- Working knowledge of software distribution and installation/support
- Basic knowledge of application delivery including release management
- Basic knowledge of computer operations
- Basic knowledge of hardware infrastructure
- Well-developed problem-solving skills with accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with co-workers, customers and management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
