Application Configuration Analyst (Archer)

The Application Configuration Analyst provides software configuration along with operational support for U.S. Bank’s enterprise governance, risk and compliance (eGRC) framework, primarily within the RSA Archer Smart Suite toolset. This role is half risk analyst and half technical engineering. The right candidate will play a critical part in diagnosing issues, solving problems and configuring the Archer toolset to enable business processes and activities.
Job duties and responsibilities include:
- Eliciting requirements through conversations with business partners
- Analyzing requirements, documentation, use cases and workflow
- Consulting with business partners in order to refine requirements and explain tradeoffs between usability and performance
- Interpretation and conversion of business partner needs into application requirements
- Building, testing, documenting, and deploying automated processes in the Archer toolset following the agile methodology
- Modifying existing processes to correct errors, enhance or improve performance
- Providing ongoing enhancements for multiple processes
- Performing other projects or miscellaneous duties as requested or assigned


  Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years of experience in an applicable risk management environment
- Applicable professional certifications

- Three+ years of application configuration (or similar) experience
- A background in business analysis, risk management, and/or software configuration a plus
- Understanding of Operational Risk Program a plus
- Experience with RSA Archer or similar eGRC products a plus (e.g. Accelus, OpenPages, BWise, MetricStream, etc.)
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel or WebFOCUS a plus
- Understanding of, or experience with, Structured Query Language (SQL) a plus
