Responsible for performing systems analysis and defining modifications to improve workflow and operating efficiency. Makes recommendations to standardize procedures and processes and to improve existing technology.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


1. Understands the overall environment and make-up of the organization and interdependencies as it relates to moving change through the lifecycle.
2. Maintains an understanding of the business structure, policies, operations and systems.
3. Understands the ‘as-is’ business state and help envision the future ‘to-be’ state.
4. Maintains subject matter expertise on assigned systems and projects
5. Elicits business needs and requirements.
6. Analyzes and documents business needs and features, and/or detailed requirements depending on project size and skill-set.
7. Ensures requirements are complete and unambiguous.
8. Communicates business requirements to those that are responsible for satisfying defined requirements.
9. Participates in prioritization and planning discussions.
10. Provides requirements clarification during development, testing and implementation phases.
11. Follows established change management methodology, processes and templates.

Qualifications

 
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- 10 or more years of experience in operations/technology project management activities
 
Preferred Skills/Experience
- In depth knowledge of policies, plans, procedures, products and regulatory requirements for assigned business unit.
- Ability to conduct an analysis of a business need and appropriately schedule meetings, plan agendas, confer with business line leaders, document, and make verbal and written presentations.
- Strong knowledge of computer applications and PCs.
- Ability to use PC software including word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, and presentation software packages.
- Strong analytical, planning, organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
