Performs a variety of clerical duties related to mailing, sorting, and/or delivering mail. Collects, sorts, and distributes mail and/or reports. Prepares outgoing mail for pickup. Operates simple office machines related to mailing processes (i.e. envelope sealing machines, postage meters, and letter openers). Documents and records mail activity. Maintains filing systems and departmental records. Performs data entry as directed. Answers routine telephone calls about mail procedures and processes. May perform other clerical duties as needed.
