How do I split the bill with Zelle® for a credit card transaction?

You can easily split a bill with Zelle® within your credit card transactions. You’ll need to have a U.S. Bank checking or savings account to split the bill. 

Online banking steps:

To get started, log into online banking and follow these steps:

  1. From the dashboard select My accounts then Choose an account
  2. Select the desired account and your transaction history will appear.
  3. Choose the transaction that you wish to split and select the arrow to the right of the transaction amount.
  4. Under Transaction options, select Split this bill with Zelle®.
  5. Follow the prompts listed to split the transaction.

U.S. Bank Mobile App steps:

For the best mobile banking experience, we recommend logging in or downloading the U.S. Bank Mobile App.

  1. Select the account you wish to see transactions for on the main dashboard.
  2. Scroll down to choose the transaction you wish to split and select the arrow to the right of the transaction amount.
  3. Under Transaction options, select Split this bill with Zelle®.
  4. Follow the prompts listed to split the transaction.
