How do I send money with Zelle® using my business account?

We strongly recommend you notify your recipient to expect a payment notification from U.S. Bank via email or text. Recipients must register their mobile phone number or email address with Zelle®. If the mobile number or email address isn't registered within 14 calendar days, the payment expires, and funds are returned to your account. 

Online banking steps:

To get started, log into online banking and follow these steps:

  1. Select Send money at the top of the page, choose Send money with Zelle and select Send money.
  2. Choose a recipient from the list.
    • The recipient's information will indicate if they're enrolled with Zelle.
    • If the recipient isn't listed, select Add new recipient and follow the steps to add their information.
  3. Select the recipient's email address or phone number.  
  4. Enter how much you want to send.
  5. If you'd like to change the account funds are send from, use the drop-down menu to change it.
  6. If you'd like to change the send date, or set up a recurring payment, select Edit frequency & date.
  7. Select Review, and verify all information is correct on the next page. 
  8. When ready, select Send. You'll receive confirmation the funds are sent; select Done to close the page.

U.S. Bank Mobile App steps:

  1. Select Send money at the bottom of the page, then choose Send money.
  2. Choose a recipient from the list.
    • The recipient's information will indicate if they're enrolled with Zelle.
    • If the recipient isn't listed, select Add new recipient and follow the steps to add their information.
  3. Select the recipient's email address or phone number.
  4. Enter how much you want to send.
  5. If you'd like to change the account funds are sent from, select the account to change it.
  6. If you'd like to change the send date, select the calendar icon, and choose the desired day.
  7. If you'd like to set up a recurring payment, select the toggle button to the right of Repeat this payment. 
  8. Select Review, and verify all information is correct on the next page.
  9. When ready, select Send. You'll receive confirmation the funds are sent; select Done to close the page.

Additional information:

There is no charge to use the Send money or Request money services. However, there is a fee to receive money to a business account at U.S. Bank, which is 2.50% of the transaction amount (25 cents minimum/$15 maximum).
