For the best mobile banking experience, we recommend logging in or downloading the U.S. Bank mobile app.

  1. Select the main menu in the upper left corner, then choose Login & Security.
  2. Select the authentication method you'd like to modify and follow the steps to complete or remove setup.
    • Use the toggle switches to turn on and off Remember your username and/or Enable your biometric (i.e., fingerprint, face ID).
    • Visual pattern and one-time passcode require additional steps update/remove setup.
      • Enabling the one-time passcode feature will require a passcode to be generated on all subsequent logins.
      • Adding Visual pattern authentication takes 72 hours to go in effect. In the interim period, the previous authentication method is presented during login.

Additional information:

Visual pattern, fingerprint scan, or face ID can only be managed in our mobile banking app.
