How do I change my ID Shield questions and answers?

To change your ID Shield questions and/or answers, just log in to online banking and follow these steps.

  1. Select Customer Service located at the top of the page, then choose My profile.
  2. Select Edit from the Additional Authenticators section, then Edit next to ID Shield Questions. 
  3. Choose three to five questions, input the answers, then select Continue.
  4. Review your information, then select Submit.

The option to reset your ID Shield questions or answers is only available on the full usbank.com website. This option is not available on mobile banking.

Additional information:

All questions and answers needs to be changed at once; there's not an option to edit an existing answer or change one question. If you prefer, you can re-use previously chosen questions.
