How do I validate my email address for an external account transfer?

To verify your email address for external transfers after it's been added to your profile, just log in to online banking and follow these steps.

  1. Select Transfers from the top menu bar, then select Transfer Money.
  2. Choose External Transfers, then select Preferences in the upper-right corner within the External Transfers section.
  3. Select Verify next to the your email address. We'll email you a validation code.
  4. Enter the validation code, then select Submit

The option to verify your email address for external account transfers is only available on the full website. This option is not available on mobile banking.
