In most cases, you don't need to upload supporting documentation if you're completing the Form 3508S application. However, there are certain specific instances where you may be prompted to provide additional documentation. For Forms 3508EZ or 3508, gathering and already having supporting documentation retained electronically is critical for an accurate review and calculation of your forgiveness amount and will be requested at the stage of the application. (DESCRIPTION) A light blue bar at the bottom of the page contains a link titled Add documents. (SPEECH) When prompted to add documents, you'll be asked to select a document category from a dropdown menu of document types. This creates a placeholder on the dashboard to upload the documents. You will also be asked the number of files you intend to upload for that category type. After creating a placeholder for your file, you can upload your documents in one of two ways-- one, drag the file into the upload area and drop, or two, click Browse, navigate to where the files are saved on your computer, select, and click Upload. (DESCRIPTION) Both choices sit to the right of a description of each of the document types. (SPEECH) After uploading all your supporting documents, simply click the "I've uploaded all documents" button to proceed. We've also provided links to our FAQ and reference guides that provide more information about the required documents. Once you've completed filling out each section of the application and, if applicable, uploading any supporting documentation, you're ready to sign and submit your application.
