Sunshine Act

Under federal law the Sunshine Act regulation stipulates financial institutions and our community development partners (non-governmental entities or persons, or NGEPs) are required to publicly disclose and file, both quarterly and annually, reports regarding certain transactions and "covered agreements".

These agreements must be:

  • in writing between the financial institution and NGEP.
  • inclusive of payments or grants of $10,000 or more, or loans of more than $50,000 in any calendar year.
  • made in fulfillment of CRA.
  • a CRA communication between the parties.

U.S. Bank current agreements and expired agreements with NGEPs are included in this website as required by the regulation.
