Kris Switzer

Kris Switzer
Head of Asset Management

Kris Switzer oversees all aspects of NMTC, HTC, Renewable Energy Tax Credit (RETC), and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) asset and risk management activities for USBCDC and USBCDE, the Community Development Entity of USBCDC. Kris joined USBCDC in 2004 and began her career with us as a NMTC and HTC project manager, structuring, negotiating and underwriting over 50 complex NMTC and HTC transactions for projects nationwide. She most recently served as Director of NMTC, HTC, and RETC asset management. From 1997-1999, Kris worked for U.S. Bank (through Mercantile and Firstar) as a commercial banking officer. She also has over five years of experience in commercial real estate thanks to her career as a senior mortgage representative at The Principal Financial Group in Des Moines, Iowa. Kris holds a BS in Business Administration - Actuarial Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and practiced as an actuary for two years.

Director of Asset Management (NMTC/HTC)

Ana da Silva currently supervises all aspects of NMTC and HTC asset and risk management activities for USBCDC and USBCDE. Previously, Ana served as a Senior Asset Manager in the NMTC, HTC and RETC group for three years, managing a team of five asset managers with portfolio of more than $750 million of tax credit equity investments. Since joining USBCDC in 2007 as a project manager, she has been involved in structuring, underwriting and closing over $100 million of NMTC and HTC tax equity in support of projects across the country. Earlier in her career, she worked in international and executive programs for The Conference Board, a global business membership and research organization. Ana holds a Master of Public Administration and a BA in European Studies from New York University.
