Joel A. Brotman, CMB, has been providing mortgage banking services since 1969. He has a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Rutgers University, and achieved his Certified Mortgage Banker designation from the Mortgage Bankers Association of America in 1985. A New Jersey native, Joel now resides in the Cleveland, Ohio area with Vivienne, his wife of 38 years, and is responsible for overseeing U.S. Bank Home Mortgage's wholesale/correspondent production in Ohio, Michigan and the mid-Atlantic and New England states. He has served on the MBA of America's Board of Governors, chaired its Education and CMB committees and is a past president of both the MBA of NJ and the Greater Cleveland MBA. (Joel is also president of the Board of Trustees of the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra and plays lead alto saxophone with the "PrimeTime" swing band.) His experience in retail and wholesale production, secondary marketing and operations management assists him in his mission to be a uniquely valuable resource to retail mortgage lenders and to his regional team of highly professional Account Executives. Their sense of urgency, responsiveness and concern for our customers' needs, when combined with U.S. Bank Home Mortgage's products, pricing and superior service, help Joel and his team turn those customers into "raving fans."
