For federal taxes, EasyTax calculates the federal due date based on two criteria supplied by the subscriber: your IRS-assigned deposit frequency and your liability date (check date or payroll date). To comply with the federal tax requirements, the EasyTax system will automatically change your frequency from monthly to semi-weekly if your taxes equal $100,000 or more within a deposit period.
Also, once you have started making your payments, you will be able to:
Make same-day payment deletions
Update your User Profile information
View query transaction history
Add or delete state and federal tax codes
There also is a historical recap report made available on a monthly or quarterly basis that reports all federal or state tax payments made in that period. The report is a great resource for tax filing purposes.
The IRS has proposed changes to the way federal tax payments must be paid. Effective January 1, 2011, your business may be required to pay federal taxes electronically. Learn more.
