Combine your Tower Card with a U.S. Bank Student Checking account, use it at any ATM or make Visa debit purchases, and the amount will be automatically deducted from your checking account.

Campus Card: How It Works

  1. Apply for a U.S. Bank Student Checking account.2 In just a couple of minutes and few easy steps, you’ll be on your way.
    As you fill out your application, please be sure to include a phone number or email address so we can reach you if we have any questions. Also, if you just moved into campus housing or nearby, put your previous address or parent's address in the Previous Address field, so we can more easily process your application.
    In addition, we'll ask you to:
    • Tell us about yourself.
    • Tell us how you plan to use your account.
    • Review and submit your application. That's it!
  2. Visit the Bursar's Office in the Student Services Center to get your Tower Card Maxx and have it linked to your Student Checking account.
  3. Use your Tower Card Maxx at any ATM or to make Visa debit purchases and the amount will be automatically deducted from your checking account.

After a competitive selection process, your school chose U.S. Bank as its partner to offer students, faculty and staff the option to add banking functionality to the campus ID card. Your school may receive financial support from U.S. Bank in the form of marketing funds, royalties, card stock or other compensation to offset costs otherwise incurred by the school. Students, faculty and staff are not required to open an account with U.S. Bank to receive or use the campus ID card for other campus services.

  1. The Maxx Card is issued by U.S. Bank pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc.

  2. If you already have a U.S. Bank Student Checking account, simply visit the ID Card Office to get your Maxx Card. If you do not have a U.S. Bank Student Checking account, you can visit the Bursar's Office on the first and third Tuesday of every month, from 1:00-4:00 or the local branch listed above.
