Perform an Inter-Account Transfer

Summary

For clients who have a U.S. Bank Foreign Currency Transaction Account, U.S. Bank's FX Web application provides a means to do simple transfers from U.S. Bank accounts to other foreign currency accounts.

Steps

  1. Click Transfer on the Main Menu to display the Trade Entry: Funds Transfer Request page.
  2. Click in Value Date and type the date of the transfer.
  3. Select the currency type to transfer by either typing the three-character code or by selecting from the available currency table (open by clicking the flag icon).
  4. Type the transfer amount in the box next to the currency type box.
    • Optionally, click in Deal Details and type a note about the transfer.
  5. Click Send, and then click OK to commit or Cancel to cancel the transfer when a confirmation message appears. If you click OK, a confirmation page appears.
  6. Click Acknowledge to display the Receipt button to access settlement instructions.
  7. Click Receipt to display the page for entering settlement information about the destination of the transferred funds.
  8. Select the method and the instruction set, and then click Insert.
  9. Click Back, Menu, or Logout to repeat, do another task, or to exit FX Web.
