Andy has been in the mortgage business since 1982. As a securities and money market trader for Salomon Brothers Inc in New York and then with Freddie Mac, he learned the ropes of all secondary market functions, hedging and mortgage backed securities. Andy has managed secondary marketing departments for several builder and realty -owned mortgage operations in the Virginia market and has solid background in retail originations and management. In the early 1990’s he broke in to wholesale mortgage banking with Countrywide and spent many years focused on agency and FHA/VA training and support. In 1999, Andy joined Chevy Chase Bank as an account executive and provided outstanding training and market direction for lenders and brokers throughout the state of Virginia. He was elected to the bank’s “Chairman’s Club”, as one of the top four producers in the country every year during his eight years of service. Many local lending partners have attended and enjoyed his training seminars throughout Virginia and across the country. Andy has developed long standing relationships with all of his clients and strives to provide the best service and training he can to all his clients.
