Three Easy Ways to Refer a Friend
1. Have your friend(s) apply online. Just provide them with your REI Member number and invite them to apply online. Make sure and have them apply at reivisa.com/raf. Just shoot them an email with the info, it couldn't be any easier!
2. Hand an application to your friend(s). Simply print the PDF form linked below, fill in your REI member number on the application(s) and hand to your family and friends. Their completed application can be faxed or mailed as noted on the application. To ensure both you and your referred friend receive a $20 REI gift card, be sure to use this REI Visa card Application form (PDF).
3. Have your friends apply by phone. Be sure they know your REI member number (as well as their own) when they call so you both get your $20 REI gift cards. Call 1-877-734-9737 ext. 5030.

Refer-a-Friend $20 REI Gift Card Information:
For the referring member: The $20 Refer-a-Friend REI gift-card bonus is earned for each REI member you refer who applies, activates and makes a purchase with their new REI Visa® card. You cannot earn a Refer-a-Friend bonus by referring someone who is already an REI Visa cardmember, or an applicant who has been referred by someone else.

Your REI member number must be included on the referred application for you to be eligible for the REI gift-card bonus. Six to eight weeks after the referred new account is approved, activated and used to make a purchase, a gift card will be mailed to your primary card's primary-applicant address.
Your account must be open and in good standing to be eligible for the bonus. REI is responsible for the distribution of REI rebates.
Due to confidentiality, sponsors cannot be notified, either in writing or by phone, as to which referrals have been approved for the REI Visa card.
