Transfer and Redemption Requirements
Transfer or redemption of a bond into a trust. These are U.S. Bank Corporate Trust Services' requirements to transfer or redeem your bond.
Requirements:
- See requirements for registration types.
- A letter of instruction including the name of the trust and trustees as well as the date of the trust.
Profit Sharing Plan and Trust: Include the name and date of the trust. Names of the trustees are not required.
IRA Trust: Include the name of the financial institution that is the custodian or trustee of the IRA trust as well as the name of the owner.
- W-9 for the trust
- A copy of the trust agreement is not required
