Personal Online Banking Customer Preparation:
Enrolling in U.S. Bank Internet Banking is Easy
Before you begin to access your accounts, you'll need:

  • Your U.S. Bank Check Card or ATM Card and Personal Identification Number (PIN).
  • If you do not have a U.S. Bank Check Card or ATM card, a new Personal Identification Number (PIN) will need to be established. If you do not have a card, you must establish a PIN by calling 800-US BANKS (800-872-2657) between May 14, 2010, and June 13, 2010, and follow these steps as prompted:
    • Select Option 1: Information or services on existing accounts.
    • Select Option 1: Account Inquiry, then enter your account number.
    • You will then be prompted to enter your PIN — do not enter anything (there will be a pause).
    • The system will then state “If you do not have a PIN, please enter the Social Security Number or Tax ID number associated with your account.”
    • Enter your Social Security Number or Tax ID number and the system will verify your information.
    • The system will then allow you to establish a new PIN.
    • You can then use this PIN immediately to enroll in U.S. Bank Internet Banking and obtain information on the 24-Hour Banking automated system.
