Sunshine Act

Under federal law the Sunshine Act regulation stipulates financial institutions and our community development partners (non-governmental entities or persons - NGEPs) are required to publicly disclose and file, both quarterly and annually, reports regarding certain transactions and "covered agreements".

These agreements must:

  • Be in writing between the financial institution and NGEP.
  • Include payments or grants of $10,000 or more or loans of more than $50,000 in any calendar year.
  • Be made in fulfillment of CRA.
  • Be a CRA communication between the parties.



U.S. Bank's current agreements and expired agreements with NGEPs are included in this Web site as required by the regulation.
