The Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-Off is a six-day street festival for nearly 250,000 people. The event commandeers Victorian Square for a party with ribs, corn on the cob, beer and pulsating live music all weekend long. Come and see 25 barbecue cookers from around the country and beyond against each other for the "Best in the West" title. The grills are fired for more than just the rib judges: visitors can sample ribs from Texas to Australia and critique sauces and barbecue methods before settling in for their vote, "The People's Choice."
