It's Our Business to Lend, Our Privilege to Give
At U.S. Bank, we understand that paying for college can be challenging, especially with the cost of college tuition increasing and student financial aid sources decreasing.
Let Us Lend a Hand
For the past twelve years, U.S. Bank scholarships have helped students fund their education. This year, we continue the tradition through our Internet Scholarship Program, which will award up to thirty $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors entering college next fall.
How do I apply?
Apply online - quickly and easily. No pens are required. The U.S. Bank Internet Scholarship Program is exclusively for Web visitors. Our online application is the only way to apply.
When do I apply?
Now! We will accept applications through February 28, 2009. There's no time like the present, so apply today!
Who Will Be Selected?
The Internet Scholarship Program is exclusively for high school seniors graduating in the 2008-2009 school year. Winners will be selected at random.
Do I Make the Grade?
In order to be eligible for the U.S. Bank Internet Scholarship Program, a student must be:
- A high school senior planning to enroll (or already enrolled) full-time in an accredited two- or four-year college or university;
- Enrolled by September 2009 in a full-time course of study at an accredited school;
- A United States citizen or permanent resident alien.
So, Did I Win?
Upon selection, U.S. Bank will verify winner submissions and notify each scholarship recipient in writing by early April 2009. Verification may also be made by phone to establish that your college selection has not changed. Complete Scholarship Terms and Conditions are as follows:
- Scholarship award checks will be issued in August 2009.
- Scholarship award checks are payable jointly to the student and the school and must be endorsed by both.
- It is the recipient's obligation to inform U.S. Bank which school will be attended and about any changes in circumstance that would render the recipient ineligible to claim the scholarship award.
- Scholarship award recipients have no obligation to U.S. Bank.
- Scholarship awards are given without regard to race, color, creed, religion, age, gender, disability or national origin.
- U.S. Bank reserves the right to review and change the conditions and procedures of the Internet Scholarship Program, including its termination, at any time.
